Here is the bottom line of my story, my life: the only way I get out of bed every morning and face the world is knowing in my heart, mind, and every fiber of my body that God is holding my hand. I've known God since the age of six (at least that is what memory serves). I've known Christ as my Lord and Savior since I was baptized into the Christian faith at the age of 22.
I breathe, think, plan, and see life as a story (and yes, that means thinking in scenes!). What I hope to achieve on this blog is to share book reviews, author interviews, and little snippets of people's life stories because everyone has a story to tell.
I'd love to hear from you. Grab a cup of coffee, get your fingers tapping on the keyboard, and settle down for a visit.
Blessings,
Elaine
Nice!
ReplyDeleteAwesome. About time. I'm so glad you've started your web presence, and what a very nice presence it is. I know that you'll fill it with all sorts of great writing.
ReplyDeleteHi Elaine,
ReplyDeleteLove the blog. :) No coffee for me please, but I'll have a chi. Diana
Jean, Christine, and Diana--heartfelt thanks for the visit. Maybe this is another "next" step?
ReplyDeleteElaine
oh yes, and the steps will take you farther than you could ever imagine. :)
ReplyDeleteElaine, Best Wishes on your blog. I love reading Mary Beth's and keeping up on things. So yours will so that for you too. Enjoy!!!
ReplyDeleteBetty- what a delightful surprise! I'm thrilled you stopped by for a visit. I hope you will visit often. In a few days I'll be posting a story about how a dad stopped the Lone Ranger's limo for a special token for his daughter--and in the Capital District to boot.

ReplyDeleteGood morning! It's rainy here, but the flowers are peeking and drinking up all they can. (Sometimes I think spring bulbs are shaped like cups designed to hold in the fleeting sunshine of the earlier rain-filled months.) Just wanted to stop in and say "Hi! Love what you've done with the place."
ReplyDeleteAnd...also, a big "Hello" to Roberta for her sweet tale about her father. As someone who has just recently lost her grandmother and seeing her grandfather's health rapidly failing (we were very close as I lived with my grandparents much of my childhood), I know how precious those memories can be.
Elaine,
ReplyDelete*Hugs* Congratulations on starting your own blog. I've enjoyed following your career, and am so proud of you and excited for what your future holds for you. Take care and God bless!

Good Morning,
ReplyDeleteWorked with Robbie for many years at the NYS Tax Dept. A BEAUTIFUL person she is. I just loved the story about the Lone Ranger, and what her Dad did for her...As usual, so touching. She is amazing....
